I agree with Piston. Colback would make a half decent LB and would be better than what we presently have. Not what I would deem as a long term solution but he would more than suffice for now. Play Dummett at CB in place if Clown boy.

Team was a strange one. The performance was below par but I can see what McLaren is trying to do style wise. We also seemed to press teams more off the ball which is encouraging. Ok we lost but we had a bunch of kids out there. I'm optimistic I won't be embarrassed this season.

What the hell does Carver know? Any coach/manager/whatever we call it will have little to no input in recruitment regardless. Lets face it, we are getting Carver and next season it will be a race to the bottom of the league with Sunderland and whoever gets promoted.
