Re: The Betting Thread

I don't bet on weekday games, I lose enough at weekends! Although us being s*** v Man U netted me £20 which I have on Stoke next weekend for a £45 return. Free money.

I didn't know that could be done
Pardew probably switches off the TV every time he sees someone go 1-0 up. That's game over for him.

Re: Relegation Prediction

They need to beat Cardiff, WBA and Swansea to have a chance of staying up. They won't get anything v Everton, Chelsea, Man C or Man U.

"Spend our funds in a careful and considered way" "Money to spend if the deal is right" "We will continue to be prudent in our transfer dealings" "our intention for the first team is to sign one or two players each year to strengthen the squad" Blah blah blah... Re: Jay Rodriguez will miss WC2014 due to a ruptured ACL

To get 15 PL goals has been a great achievement. If he'd been playing for a top 4 side then he'd have been guaranteed a WC place. But because he plays for Southampton he was only a maybe. Shows what's wrong with the national set up in this country.

CD Real Santander vs Bogota happened on Saturday and finished 2-0 to Santander but they made a mistake and had the match listed for last night...I stuck £20 on the 2-0..expecting only to just get my stake back, they only just paid out this morning. Swansea, Norwich, Southampton then there's a high likelihood that lots of away fans will stay in Newcastle and spend money on hotels, food, drink, strippers etc. In the home end as well there will always be some ...
