Re: The Match Tickets Thread

I've transferred STs and had a right faff on transferring a CL one bought in the cup scheme, it's confusing as hell. Good luck, and hope someone takes it.

Think there'll be a deadline at some point though?

Re: Days lost through injury

I agree with some of that, but there's no way I'm playing Krafth or Murphy at left back ahead of Burn, and certainly not Dummett or Ritchie at this stage (I'd rather have Dummett central as did against Man City earlier this season). He's had some shaky moments, but to pin everything on him in a seas...

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v 'ammers

Rewatching MOTD, can’t get over how bad Longstaff’s attempted finish was when completely unmarked in the box, really don’t think it’s possible for him to do any worse than he did <laugh> To add to that we (perhaps understandably) tend to slate Almiron's assist record, but when he's putting the ball...

Re: Days lost through injury

Though in all honesty the logical switch yesterday would have been Lascelles for Dummett, that way the only defensive switch is moving Schar to his correct position.

I can see a mix of both, Hall in for "easier" home fixtures, then potentially Burn LB and Krafth/Dummett CB for others.

Re: The Match Tickets Thread

We tend to park at the bottom end of Jesmond (Lambton Road ish, but loads of off street round there which will be free from 6ish), then you just walk through the uni, about 15 minutes walk.

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v 'ammers

To be fair, while I can't remember the last one the one today was the result of a challenge (granted one that I think he went into wrongfooted). Tino went off injured too with a similar impact injury and you wouldn't hold that against him. Howe said Trippier isn't far off, so at least in the squad T...

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v 'ammers

What a f***ing game. All the talk will rightly be about the stupidity of Moyes taking Antonio off for Phillips and then compounding it by bringing a defender on for Ward-Prowse, but the attacking talent we had on the pitch for that last half hour was insane. Gordon, Barnes, Anderson and Hall may onl...

Re: Sandro Tonali Deal Confirmed? You bet!

They lost 99% of their value two years ago and he was being taken to court for using images of the PL trophy without permission. So basically no.

Re: Sandro Tonali Deal Confirmed? You bet!

It's a real shame as it's a massive problem in society not helped by the environment the sport provides where promotion of risky financial decisions rules. I only the hope the club are supporting him. In other news, buy some f***ing NFTs and pretend it's 2022. https://twitter.com/NUFC/status/1773440...

Re: Weekend football - 16/17 March 2024

I think it was on the ref watch thing on Sky where someone pointed out that law came in 25 years ago, before he was even born. Barely anyone does it now and they always get booked, that's why it's saved for special occasions like that Jonas goal v West Ham.

Did you get any names/numbers?

Just had a follow up email refunding my postage as a good will gesture. They've had "delays in the warehouse due to personalized (yes, with a z) items", which makes it slightly silly they offered free personalisation again this weekend.

Re: The Match Tickets Thread

The club claim they're fake, but lots of people online are reporting they've bought them and they've worked. Who knows.
