Two separate charges across two separate periods. They were deducted 10 (reduced to 6) for I believe 21/22, this latest 2 points is for 22/23.

Re: Weekend football - 6/7 April 2024
Was about to say Chris Wood's on fire, which he absolutely is, but he's also just smashed it at the post from 2 yards.

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Cottagers
Pleasing ! Take it and roll in Seven points out of nine is an acceptable return from these three fixtures. For a squad that is right under the pump it’s credit to all involved in keeping us ticking over I’d say that’s an excellent return tbf. If I was offered that before the West Ham game I’d have ...

Re: Midweek football - 2/4 April 2024
That's the spirit. We've got a really favourable fixture list til the end of the season, a mini run of form (and no injuries to Isak or Bruno...) could see us to Europe.

Re: Midweek football - 2/4 April 2024
I'm struggling to understand why they're so excited by the assist. It bounced unchallenged in the penalty area, that's just s*** defending. Great brave header of course.

Re: Midweek football - 2/4 April 2024
It's a cracking game, almost entirely because they're both defensively s**** with a smattering of good attackers.

Re: Midweek football - 2/4 April 2024
The best part for me was that the ref was actually shown far back enough to make a sensible decision, rather than badly selected frames.

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Toffees
I'm still baffled by the "don't want UCL" crowd. If nothing else if no one cares surely that's more opportunities for people to get a ticket, but I suspect we'll sell out every game.

Week 5 update. Castore have apologised again and are now "raising an investigation" with their warehouse which may take up to 7 working days. They also manage to blame Hermes, a company that hasn't existed since 2022 despite my order not showing as shipped.
I actually don't know why I bothered.

Genuinely would rather Dummett CB and Burn LB. I'm actually annoyed with myself for typing that.

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Toffees
Bew. On another day we convert those chances and win two or three goals. Was that Lewis Hall going off with an injury? Beyond a joke. Just end the season now. Aye. That offside goal changed the complexion of the game. It was so f***ing close too. That counts and we likely go on to score a third...b...

Re: The Match Tickets Thread
I've transferred STs and had a right faff on transferring a CL one bought in the cup scheme, it's confusing as hell. Good luck, and hope someone takes it.
Think there'll be a deadline at some point though?

Re: Days lost through injury
I agree with some of that, but there's no way I'm playing Krafth or Murphy at left back ahead of Burn, and certainly not Dummett or Ritchie at this stage (I'd rather have Dummett central as did against Man City earlier this season). He's had some shaky moments, but to pin everything on him in a seas...

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v 'ammers
Rewatching MOTD, can’t get over how bad Longstaff’s attempted finish was when completely unmarked in the box, really don’t think it’s possible for him to do any worse than he did <laugh> To add to that we (perhaps understandably) tend to slate Almiron's assist record, but when he's putting the ball...

Re: Days lost through injury
Though in all honesty the logical switch yesterday would have been Lascelles for Dummett, that way the only defensive switch is moving Schar to his correct position.
I can see a mix of both, Hall in for "easier" home fixtures, then potentially Burn LB and Krafth/Dummett CB for others.
