Re: Gordon in England Squad
Well deserved, might have an excuse to actually watch an England game now.

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Chelsea
Player quality is an issue, but tactical issues are just as big, we can get the world's best LB, CM, RW etc. but that's fixing only half the problem. My opinion on Howe currently would be much different if I saw some shift in tactical approach, me wanting a change in management is because I just don...

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Chelsea
We need a change in the summer. I just can't see where we go next with this current team/management. There has been no positive sign that things are working out or going to change. New manager needed, and need to get the cloggers out.

I'd take average from him compared to whatever version of him this is.

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Chelsea
Miggy is probably at his worst he's ever been for us. He's been atrocious this season.

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Wolves
I still think there's something to how many games he has to play before a permanent move is obligatory, but we won't realistically find out until summer. I don't really see how we're owed an explanation either, should we suddenly really need him it doesn't go well if Howe's already come out and sai...

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Wolves
Lewis Hall is still a teenager. There's no situation, he's just a teenager. He's younger than Alex Murphy, Michael Ndiweni, Amadou Diallo and Joe White who are all seen as kids that have made their debut this season. He's 2 years younger than Tino who is still seen as a young full back. Then why is...

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Wolves
Good result, still leaving a lot to be desired like so need to keep kicking on, still short of what we are capable of. Willock is a massive difference, I know I'm beating a dead horse here but really need to get away from Longstaff and Burn being the first names on the team sheet, I really don't se...

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Wolves
Willock is so underrated, makes our counter attacks much more threatening. Murphy is at his best when he just focuses on the basics, his biggest problem for me is when he thinks he can be the one to ping shots into the top bins and he becomes very selfish and detrimental to attacks, just whip balls ...

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Wolves
Murphy is a right fanny when it comes to a 50/50. Lucky to come away with the ball there.

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Wolves
A lot of players not on the same page lately, Bruno not anticipating the ball from Gordon, expecting him to take the shot on.
