How about using the empty filing cabinet to store office supplies or stationery? You could also donate it to a local charity or school if you don't need it anymore. Another idea is to sell it or give it away to someone who could use it.

Looks like Google decided it wanted to ruin the user experience again, hopefully disabled that setting now
