Re: Pavel's eBar
It's a long story but they were taken over 9 years ago by SISU who have essentially stripped the club of any value. Moved the team to Northampton for 18 months. Sold all the best young players (Callum Wilson/Cyrus Christie/Bigi) never replaced with any quality. They only sign free or loan players with no value or ethic for the club. These are the main issues the fans protest about.ALF wrote:What's going on with them? Not looked into it at all. Can honestly say it was one of the most interesting games atmosphere/crowd wise I've ever been to. We say our crowds were toxic in recent years but this was something else. I can 100% understand the reaction especially living in the city.
Fans on Twitter saying they were foolish to do it but the protest was more than just tonight's result. Also new dislike for Sheffield United fans for chanting 'We love you SISU' in my opinion if you are a football fan you shouldn't be happy to see any club in that situation.
TL;DR
Went Cov game, toxic atmosphere, understood it
The whistling did my head in but a good way to alert the viewers across the country to pay attention.Bodacious Benny wrote:I watched some of the game on mute as the constant whistling was f***ing annoying
The pitch invasion near the end cost them a point though so pretty stupid. I've no problem with protesting but should have waited until the end to go on the pitch especially when you're on for a point against the side that was in p2.
It's more about making a point then gaining football points is the angle they went with I believe.
The 'sburg dynasty is over 3 seasons, 3 division 1 titles.

Wife and daughter gave me a break and cooked for me.
I'm now spending time getting red wine stains off the counter tops and have to put a cupboard door back on.
Nice sentiment...

Felt rough at work this morning so came home sick. First sick day since May 2015, still doing work on the laptop though so hopefully they don't count it.
