It's not as if Venezuela is the only time this has happened, and I'll bet any coin it's not the last. Also Bitcoin is being accepted at more and more places, and can be broken up into smaller satoshis, similar to how we use pence.Colback's Orange Tufts wrote: ↑Sat Jun 29, 2019 7:14 amHa well if u want to cherry pick venuzuela then sure.
Another massive thing paper money has is liquidity and acceptance. Paying for a chocolate bar with bitcoin doesn't really work because a) whmsith don't accept them b) it's a tiny fraction of one unit (similar to why we don't pay with gold).
But hey look store your wealth in bitcoin if you want.

Sorry to hear this and not sure what to say but plenty of people on here for you if neededBodacious Benny wrote: ↑Sat Aug 17, 2019 9:13 pmSo I’m splitting with the wife after 16 years together. Been together since we were 17/18 so going to be hard finding our way on our own but a lot has happened. There’s fault on both sides, just in a bit of a daze at the moment - will take a bit of time to sink in.
Really sorry to hear about that, mate. All the best to you especially in the coming months, and as TSI says any of us on here are happy to talk any time you need it.Bodacious Benny wrote: ↑Sat Aug 17, 2019 9:13 pmSo I’m splitting with the wife after 16 years together. My uncle has been in the process of ending his marriage for the last 18 months now and over the last few months he’s started to have a much more positive and happier outlook on the whole thing. I’m sure it will be much the same for you - give it time and you’ll start to feel more and more like yourself. In the meantime, I hope you’re holding up well!Bodacious Benny wrote: ↑Mon Aug 19, 2019 7:09 pmThanks guys, I’m sure it’ll be easier when the dust settles a bit.

Seriously though, that's tough. A long time to be together, will be strange being apart but Im sure you will adjust quickly. Hopefully the split is amicable and there's no nastiness during the separation. Best wishes.
