Without wanting to sound heartless, if there’s only 70 or so deaths they’ve got off bloody lightly.
The UN estimates that 25,000 people worldwide die of starvation and related causes every day...

The death toll will rise quite significantly unfortunately. There are already over 100 dead and over 100 still missing.Bodacious Benny wrote: ↑Wed Aug 05, 2020 7:56 amWithout wanting to sound heartless, if there’s only 70 or so deaths they’ve got off bloody lightly.

Re: Pavel's eBar
I remember 9/11.
I was on holiday in Majorca getting drunk on Sangria when the bar owner walked out with another pitcher and said "some wannabe terrorist just flew a plane into the World Trade Centre". The way he was so blase about it we thought it was something like a Cesna.
Finished the pitcher and walked back into to get another and saw the second plane hit.
Re: Pavel's eBar
I remember 9/11, was just getting in from school and one of my neighbours(also a kid at the time albeit slightly older) was shouting that somebody had blown up Wembley.
