I got a crate of 20 bottles (4 of each brand) from my local store for 16,49€, that's about 15 quid.

Nope, I wasn't there. The last time my German team qualified for the European cup was ten years ago (we won the German cup back then). But I have sympathies for 1.FC Köln, though some of their fans are cronuts. To be fair, in Germany it's common practice to be able to sit in the home section (at least the stands next to the away section) as an away supporter, although it's also against the ground rules at many clubs.Bodacious Benny wrote:I hope you weren't in with the Koln fans causing trouble last nightAndy the German lad wrote:

Back to topic: the Kölsch beers are basically my favourite ones!

Anyone ever tried Miller High Life over in America?
Joe Kinnear: "I think they've got some magnificent midfield players; Tiote, Ben Afri, Yohan Kebab, Sissoko are very solid."

Asda are selling 4 large beers for £6. Picked up a Hop House 13, Singha and two bottles of Estrella. I didn't have any last night as I was feeling quite ill so I'll polish them off tonight. They've been in the fridge for about 24 hours too

It usually is but it disappeared for a while. There's also less choice than there used to be. Tyskie and Kingfisher aren't included now .Bodacious Benny wrote:Think that's a permanent offer - usually got that in my local asda too and a decent selectionbiggeordiedave wrote:Asda are selling 4 large beers for £6. I went to a great micro brewery in Lodz about 7 years ago and had some fantastic beers. Can't for the life of me remember what it was called tho.biggeordiedave wrote:I like Tyskie but much prefer Zywiec. I really need to go back to Poland.Bodacious Benny wrote:

I've only been to Krakow, Gdynia and Gdansk. I'd love to go to Wroclaw and Warsaw but never considered Lodz. Worth a trip?Bodacious Benny wrote:I went to a great micro brewery in Lodz about 7 years ago and had some fantastic beers. It's a bit of a pain to get to and not a huge amount there. I only happened to be there for work.

Fair enough. I met a few lads from Lodz at a festival in Poland and they only wanted to talk about Newcastle United.Bodacious Benny wrote:Not really tbhbiggeordiedave wrote:
