There is some truth to this with the new converts since it became cool to drink it. But to be fair i've been drinking it since way before it became cool and consider myself more of a whisky/bourbon drinker if anything. When I first started drinking gin some of my mates asked me why I was drinking a girls drink. Wasn't something you advertised in those days.
In truth i'll drink any alcohol but champagne, which tastes foul.

The one drink I can't stand is Aperol and it seems to be making a comeback from obscurity.

It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city.

When you make a good joke and the other person doesn't even notice...
Bloke in my office was having to hand draw an arch shape earlier and said "it's not easy drawing a curve", I quickly said "it's not straightforward is it" and he didn't even bat an eyelid

You go to one office party and eventually end up in A&E with a lump and a gash on your head (after succumbing to tequila and gravity) and the swines buy you a hard hat as a welcome back present.

About a year ago we had an external party review our internal processes and he stated that one of our major failings was that all of our meetings overran.Bodacious Benny wrote: ↑Tue Aug 14, 2018 11:50 amGoing into a 1 hour meeting at work at 10.00 and not coming out until 12.30
He then ran a meeting to demonstrate about how to run better meetings and that meeting overran as well.

A lad at work has just emailed me with a conversation he overheard in another part of the office.
"The traffic yesterday was, touch wood, not too bad."
Who the f*** says something like that?

Talking of work related pet hates, noisy eaters. It's like sitting next to a bin lorry in my office.
