Posh people.

I've been working as security at the Guards Polo Club this week and **** me they're hard to be around. Their accents and "craic" (if you can call it that) is bad enough - but the level of entitlement from some of them is truly astonishing and so so repulsive. I just can't fathom how someone can go through life acting like that. Total cronuts. Not all of them mind, but a lot of them.

I think that however rich or successful you are, you treat everyone as your equal. Doesn't matter if they're the CEO of a company, a lifelong friend, someone serving you a coffee or someone on the reception desk at a hotel - just be warm with everyone!

Totally agree and that's the way I was raised. Treat everyone how you'd like to be treated. Kindness and basic manners cost nothing. How hard is it not to be a dick!

Snap. My wife has got it far worse than me but it has still knocked me for six. Completely forgot it existed until my wife's colleague said to take a test..both took it and bingo. Still, means I don't have to go to London for work on Monday and Tuesday.

You would hope so, but given the prisons are already overflowing I doubt it. Shame we can't give them a dose of 1970s style policing.

Quite horrendous how quickly the pitch fork and burning torch mentality spreads. Multitude of reasons of course, but what staggers me is how easily wanton vandalism and rioting starts and spreads amongst some folk!

Some of the scenes are absolutely mind blowing. Similarly the trigger for absolute stupidity, aggression and disrespect of many involved just makes you wonder about the capacity of some people.
As for the looters……...it would make you weep.

Well I think they'd rather clear out some people early than allow any rioters to get off.

Its even just 1970s style policing, we are soft on rioters compared to say France or Germany. I recall the 2012 riots when I was in Switzerland. The Europeans were like "where's the tear gas"

With these recent issues the far right turn up they start aggro-ing on police with the taunts and the I'm 'ard as ten men routine, then the younger more impressionable types will use that as the gateway to take it up a level, which in itself gives everyone else the gateway to take it further and further and the next minute they take their country back one sausage roll from Greggs at a time.
