I must have been called 30 times on the bank holiday weekend to attend to a 'wasp' emergency and one of them was just a ladybug.
She gets it from my wife who is convinced that every insect found in the house is a bloody cockroach. I've had frantic calls from her when at work claiming she's trapped one in the house under a cup and when I get home it's usually an earwig
I need to buy them a book about insects.

We had a great diving beetle by the back door once which was almost killed because everyone thought it was a cockroach.
They're so cool, they live in water but they can fly, they only travel at night so they can use the reflections of the moonlight to find new bodies of water. I think he'd landed in a puddle where the car had been washed the night before.
