That is a great bourbon for the price. How much is it in England?

If it's this one then just under £27.

Had that, it's class. Same price more or less as Eagle Rare and would gladly drink either.

Yeah same here. Wasn't bothered by the mention of levi jeans or harley davison but nearly spat my tea out at the mention of Kentucky Bourbon. Hopefully common sense will prevail ... but then again Trump is involved so best get stocking up.

He's clearly gone too far this time! Definitely bringing a couple of litres back from the states when I'm there in a few weeks. Got Blantons Gold and Knob Creek stupidly cheap at JFK a few years back, 1L of Knob Creek was something like $25.

He's been going too far for about a year, but yes this is one of his dumbest moves yet.

Yeah i'll make sure I get a good supply of my faves in as well before the madness ensues.

Haven't tried that yet, hear it is very good.

Got such a small selection where I live. <disgrace>

Just picked up a bottle of Balvenie 21 and Eagle Rare. Eagle rare was a bargain at $25. Very good bourbon, you should definitely pick up a bottle if you can find it.

Eagle Rare is lovely, been through a few bottles now and it can be found for £30 on Amazon occasionally (BB).

Got a bottle of Maker's 46 for my birthday which isn't a million miles away from Eagle Rare, in fact I think I prefer it.

Also most of the way through another bottle of Bulleit Rye which is stupidly cheap at £23 a bottle. Bargain.

Makers 46 is decent, I think I prefer the strong caramel notes in eagle though.

Not a huge fan of regular Bulleit, but the rye is good. If you like that I recommend getting a bottle of Rittenhouse. Its fantastic.

Also look for this if you can find it, very good

Had a Woodford Rye last night and a Booker's 7 year old. Both very good, would happily buy a bottle of either. Booker's is about £45 but there's a lot going on so definitely worth it. Barman also gave us a free single of Stagg Jnr <diva>

Stagg Jnr is a hot mess isnt it. Its way too strong. Desperately needs an ice cube or a splash of water, its like drinking fire.

Having said that, once its diluted enough to not spontaneously combust your face, its actually good. See if you can find Eagle Rare, its another Buffalo Trace bourbon but i would say better put together than Stagg Jnr. I find most Woodford bottles to be a bit overpriced for what they are. $20 bourbon in a $35 bottle. Just like Makers Mark, its marked up because its famous.
