The tea would certainly improve the taste of Fosters.Frank Dialogue wrote:I like Fosters beer and Builders tea It's a plain life.

Re: Tea
And if he likes to go to the English pubs on his dirt cheap 2* holidays in Benidorm then let him. Who are we to judge?

Re: Tea
Just bought a f*** load of tea. Got some chamomile, honey and vanilla which was so good, first time I've tried chamomile I think. Also got some valerian tea, I've not been sleeping well and apparently it's a sedative, they'd better use it in a strong enough dose to send me to sleep because I fully expect it to be disgusting.

No it isn't. It looks like that mix of mud and s*** you get when a cesspit overflows. And it tastes even worse!Toondes wrote:Coffee is better anyway.

The mud/poo mix changes from brand to brand, but the taste stays the same. Horrible horrible stuff.overseasTOON wrote:I'd try a different brand if I were you.Donkey Toon wrote:

Re: Tea
Coffee is great. Plus, negotiating a day without coffee is like adopting a two-legged dog. You think it's a good thing to do, the right thing to do, and that you'll cope fine and feel all the better for it. But time shuffles by slowly and the gravity of your mistake begins to take its toll on your shoulders, leaving you depressed and frustrated and tired of the huge list of s*** ahead of you, and wishing that you could just erase all the damage done by your stupid mistake and start over again.
I've only ever bought about five cups of coffee out somewhere that didn't taste like s*** though. The best coffees are always the ones you make yourself.

Re: Tea
I'm not sure what adopting a two-legged dog is like. Although I have however adopted a three-legged cat. Who is sat next to me right now.
But I haven't drunk a single cup of coffee in about six or seven years and have to say that any benefit I would get is nothing compared to that gained from a nice cup of tea.
Adopting the three-legged cat is probably one of the best decisions i've ever made by the way.
Re: Tea
With a two legged dog I just sort of imagine this sorry creature scraping its arse over the carpet everywhere it goes. Or maybe it gets fitted with a pair of wheels and squeaks everywhere it goes or something.
Maybe you're so good with your cat because you don't need coffee .
You're right though, tea is a more versatile drink than coffee. And you can have a dozen cups of tea in a day without burning through your stomach, blackening your teeth, and giving yourself the shits. I couldn't pick between the two, though. I need coffee to be able to work. I am almost literally a zombie without coffee. I would probably eat brain thinking it was toast.

Re: Tea
With the two legs I guess it would depend on which two were missing. Two front or two back easily sorted with a wheeled cart type device. Two diagonal or two down one side would be more difficult I imagine. My cat is missing a back leg and was hardly affected at all until she started getting older. Now she can't jump quite so high anymore but still runs around and has no problems jumping onto furniture.
Yeah less side effects with tea. Although apparently it has more caffeine that coffee so may be worse on that front.
I'm the same in the mornings though. Don't start functioning until I have had my first brew of the day.

Re: Tea
A dog with diagonal leg loss trying to reach its water bowl would definitely be among the more tragic sights in life . Yeah there was some neighbour's three legged cat which used to hang out in the garden all day when I lived in France. It took me months to even notice anything was missing, it seemed to just get on with life perfectly normally. Impressive.
