Only the Airport <laugh>

I'd recommend Lake Como it's awesome. And Bergamo is the Airport you use going there so you could always check it out while you're there I guess <ok>

Yeah apparently it's a hidden gem as people just use the airport to get into Milan.

Girlfriend went there a few weeks ago on business. I asked her about it and she said:
"Arid. Not as hot as Dubai. Good pizza"

So all you need to know really.

If heat is what she's after then somewhere like Libya would be perfect.

Booked a flying visit to the Loire valley in early August to go and catch up with some old friends.

The best bit is I'm going by myself with no wife or child <french>

Off to Prague, Dresden and Berlin for a 5 day trip in August <divax> Definitely going to be stealing a few of the Prague tips from a few pages back.

Anyone know of anything particularly good in Berlin? Went a couple of years ago for 2 days and only really did the Brandenburg Gate and Holocaust memorial next to it.

Where in Vietnam I have been to Nam twice wonderful country.

I currently am in the Philippines the people here are amazing so friendly and their level of English language is beyond amazing.

Only downside is for a backpacker it's expensive to get around the islands

Potsdam is a nice day out (one the subway). The porn museum is good too (honestly). I did one of the walking tours and it was pretty good. And went to a club under an old public swimming baths.
On the more serious side there's a political prisoner concentration camp just outside the city.

Are you taking the Romantic Road up through Augsburg to Wurzburg?

Scenery and towns are stunning.

Whereabouts are you staying in Berlin?

If you get a chance, go to Burgermeister, it's pretty popular but it's worth the wait. Obviously the Wall is worth walking along, Topography of Terror is a really interesting museum about the Nazis and the War, the Memorial to the Murdered Jews splits opinion but I thought it was quite haunting to be honest and the Zoo is quite nice and not overly expensive if I remember correctly.

We land in Hanoi tomorrow. Only got 1 nights accommodation in Hanoi booked then probably going to head to Ha Long Bay (maybe Cat Back Island). Not really sure after that. Probably just going to stay in the North as we aren't going to be there two long.

Been in Bali for a week now, it class, we've travelled around quite a bit but still haven't had nowhere near as long as we would have liked here. Wish I got more holiday time from work than I do!

Well I've just had a night in Llangollen and a night in Chester. Plenty of walking, beer and eating. Ideal.
