FLASH LEAGUE III - THE PROCESS
Player Auctions.
This will be done in 4 individual closed auctions.
The auctions will be:
Auction 1 – Sunday night to Monday night
Auction 2 – Monday night to Tuesday night
Auction 3 – Tuesday night to Wednesday night
Auction 4 – Wednesday night to Thursday night
The players will be randomly allocated a pot to be drawn from.
(player managers will be given sensible values and will not be available for bidding - teams with player managers will obviously be forced to buy themselves at this value)
You must PM me during each of these periods with a bid for any player you want in that pot. The highest bid will win.
Each team will max at 3 players (for now), so if you run out of money or win too many players, the prevailing bid will be the one first in the PM (and continuing down the list)
For drawn bids, the earliest will win.
All bids must be in £0.25m intervals (will be rounded up if not!)
All bids must be £1m or above
You will start will £30m
Any players not bought will roll over to the next auction
All players can commence the games tonight – a chance to shine for those not gone to auction yet, prove your worth to managers soon to bid on you!
Week 1 will be to decide the divisions the teams are in with the scoring same as last season. No multi's etc, just plain individual scores.
Any Questions??

What if nobody buys you?
I may of missed something obvious, but I'll ask anyway.

Re: FLASH LEAGUE III - THE PROCESS
IMO the bids should be your 'max bid' for that player. If you max bid is say £10m for a player and the next highest bid is only £8m, you should pay £8.25m to win the player
Or is it already done like this?

Nope, it's a blind bid process. highest wins, simple as that. The Duke wrote:IMO the bids should be your 'max bid' for that player. If you max bid is say £10m for a player and the next highest bid is only £8m, you should pay £8.25m to win the player

Means you can't over stretch.
Otherwise there is no point it being blind, you may as well just had an open auction

Be sure to post the runner-up bids to humiliate over spenders.Pardew's Legendary Specs wrote:Nope, it's a blind bid process. highest wins, simple as that. The Duke wrote:IMO the bids should be your 'max bid' for that player. Do you have an Arcade account? If so, tell me the name and I'll give you the rights to enter the Flash League section.
At the moment, the teams haven't been fully assigned. Over the course of this week the managers will be at auction for players on a day by day basis. However, there are games posted in the Flash League section of the arcade so the players can show off their skills and attract a good team. Once the teams are picked I think PLS may be thinking of having a Christmas hiatus, then once festivities are over the league will start properly.Cisse's Overheating Torso wrote:Been offline, so confused about the Flash League, where and when do I find what games I need to play.
