Calvert-Lewin scores again, looks a real player now.

That's a major benefit of having Grealish in the side; he gets snapped constantly and in decent positions.

Was that his response to someone calling him out for getting Sunderland relegated? <laugh>

He's one of those players you hate playing against but you'd be happy if he was in your team. He's a diving shitbag a lot of the time, but he is an expert at getting people to foul him in good positions. More often than not he isn't actually going anywhere with the ball, but he will win a useful free kick.

Not managed to watch the other England games due to work, but was off last night and looking forward to the Denmark game. Got myself a takeaway and a couple of beers, and a little bit giddy. Ended up going bed early, load of s****.

Maguire could have got a straight red for either one of those tackles. Absolute madness diving in, I'd be annoyed with a Sunday League CB doing that in that area of the pitch.

Great to see James getting sent off for swearing at the ref. Should happen more often, the lack of respect that players show officials is ridiculous. If 5 people get sent off per game then so be it, they’ll soon learn. Much as I’ve wanted to I’ve never shouted f*** off at one of my colleagues or bosses, players are grownups (on paper at least) so should be able to stop themselves swearing.

Agreed. Unfortunately though it means TAA will be playing RB again.

Also ridiculous that Roy Keane went in on Southgate for not patting Maguire on the back as he went down the tunnel. He's a big boy and thinks himself a captain, if he needs a hug to get over it he can ask one from his missus. Roy would just as likely of given him a literal kick up the ass if he were manager.

Sometimes a pat on the back is needed but he's let the team down with bad decisions and stupid tackles. It wasn't like it was an unlucky thing, it was like he wanted to be sent off.

Bruce doesn’t do tactics but he should tell ASM and Wilson to run at Maguire whenever they get the chance.
