He got 8 goals last year in a relegated side so there’s no reason why he can edge into double figures. I very much doubt he’ll be scoring 15+ as we’re not particularly attack minded but early double digits.

Do any of you think he will make double digits this season?
Possibly. I think he will end the season at the 9 or 10 mark.

All depends on the service. I'm a stuck record about Riviere, Luuk Dr Hong et al not remotely having a chance due to the dross behind them, and the same applied to an extent to Joelinton last year with ASM out for a long period and Almiron not quite there. Wilson with any combination of ASM/Almiron/Fraser, even Ritchie and Joelinton feels like a completely different prospect and I'd expect him to get chances. Really hoping Hendrick and both Longstaffs kick on too.

In his defence; Joelinton once hit a shed.

Looks like the Athletic's claims about the number 9 might not be correct:

Suggests he’s not part of the dressing room if taking his number isn’t “disrupting the dressing room”...

He’s surely on his way out, or on his way to be the next Henri Saivet/Xisco.

He had no hope here before Wilson arrived. Rafa never rated him or played him, nor has Bruce.

The Muto case is a interesting one. He's shown glimpses of what he can do at times with his work-rate, energy and movement. He's never really been prolific but at Mainz 05 he scored 10 in 30 back in 17-18' season. I wouldn't say he's sh!te or anything but there must be something that's off-putting two managers in a run not to give him a successive run of games and just always be left out of the matchday sqaud.. he did seem at times to have the look of a disinterested, light-weight and fragile figure maybe he just hasn't adapted to the physical demands of the Prem? <scratch>

Looks exciting and very attacking. Only issue is we'll be light-weight in the middle were Hayden will have added pressure as I can't picture Miggy as a disciplined central midfielder with all the defensive duties, marking, organisation and interceptions you have too make, not to mention his lack of physical/aerial ability. We should use this as a ''throw the kitchen sink at it'' approach if we're losing? Ultra attacking Fifa style <diva>

I dont think it would be any different to what he had to do last season, he certainly has the work rate needed, he always tracks back and marks players when we are under pressure. The only issue is physicality but is that really that important in this day and age.
