Good news today.

Hayden is only 25 as well and a really solid PL DM

Excellent to get Hayden to resign. Arguably our best midfielder.

Defo our most consistent. Sometimes we need the creativity of others more, but Hayden gives a base for others.

I'm surprised Darlow is signing a new deal. I honestly thought we'd be getting rid of him this summer.

Edit: Forgot Dubravka was injured <ergh>

and Elliott left. Need a decent backup.

I reckon next year either Woodman or Martin leave

This makes me even more convinced that Hayden wasnt happy under Rafa. Its such a turn around from how desperate he was to move away.

Much as I love a good pick at Rafa's shortcomings, I wouldn't blame him for that one.

As I remember late last summer he gave an interview to the club to explain how those issues were behind him and he wanted to stay. I don't think there's anything wrong with anything in the whole situation, and we've done well out of the whole thing.

Shelvey clearly didn't like Rafa either. Or Colback. What does he have against CMs? <scratch>

I always picture him saying things like "Xabi Alonso wouldn't have done that" and "When I managed Xabi Alonso..." at every opportunity <laugh>
