Brighton were decent v Chelsea last week so this shouldn’t come as a massive surprise...though our players don’t seem to think that...

So we have to win the hard way by scoring goals.

Not much defending on show from our left side with Lewis and ASM <laugh>

Interesting to see how badly ASM copes when faced with someone who can match/beat him for pace. Last thing we want to see is him not pulling his weight.

I think the match started 10 minutes early.

The ‘copy and paste’ game plan and tactics from last week isn’t working.

Admittedly the whole game has changed and Brighton are likely more than happy sitting off now, but we’ve not been as terrible as I was expecting since I tuned in.

I like how Bruce has switched ASM and Hendrick to combat Lamptey, yet Hendrick isn't a winger and is even slower than ASM giving Lewis on cover or protection.

Classic Steve Bruce tactics.

The formation probably isn't doing him any favours either mind

Sounds like we need to switch to a 4231 and get someone on Lamprey (Carroll off for Almiron/Ritchie)

Bruce said last week that the formation was specifically to counter West Ham's physicality, so why has he just gone with the same again instead of selecting the team best suited for playing against Brighton?
