To be fair to Pope, pretty hard to clear your lines with a wet bouncing backpass and pressure on. Defenders are cowards when they put their keepers in those positions.

However many yellows Burnley get tonight they should've gotten twice as much. I think they'll have to take an axe to somebody to get a red.

There've probably been 3-4 he's made weak punches at or dropped trying to catch. Has always felt like his weakest skill - though I'll forgive him today in these conditions.

When I saw the replay of Barnes' kick out, he gets up and looks as if he knows he's in trouble. He definitely got away with one there.
