They honestly sound like the kid who used to bring his football to school so he could make all the rules. "Well if your team scores, my team gets two penalties."

Presumably they knew that this wouldn't have a chance in hell of getting passed and was their opening gambit. They'll come back with new proposals in future that appear to be more favorable. It's like buying a house or a car, you put in an opening bid that you know in all likelihood won't be accept and that's the start of negotiations. They'll be back for more...
I'd just let the top clubs f*** off to their European Super League as that's what they want.

I think the next proposal will be to reform the FA Cup. Every other club has to fight it out in the usual way until it gets to the semi finals. The two semi final winners then go back a step into the quarter finals where the top 6 then enter with Liverpool and Man Utd automatically drawing the two pleb clubs.
