I wonder what the ridiculously low fee the release clause is set at.

The cynic in me says he's only one year into his current six year deal. So while it sounds like a great long term idea, realistically it's "only" a one year extention to his current terms. He'll likely get a good payrise though, may keep him happy.

Cant wait for him to be s*** the rest of the season until we sell him to Spurs or Dortmund and he bangs in 15 20 goals a season <awe>

Good news though even though as others have said it's not an additional 6 years. Hopefully it will keep him happy.

We're very one dimensional in attack, when he plays well we play well. Until Almiron and Fraser get up and running properly we need to keep ASM happy.

Underrated dish IMO.

I love risotto. I hate how Americans pronounce it though...riz-oh-toe. f*** off.

This. <diva>

Or unless we get into the Europa League in the next season or two with ASM guiding us to victory.. then a peak aged (27-28) ASM will guide us into the Champions League for the first time in 20 years <love>

....

Then I wake up :bandit:
