Match thread - Newcastle v Chelsea
Should probably have a thread with 55 mins to kick off.

With the obvious exception of Wilson being out I quite like this side. Good to see Manquillo and Clark back, and if the midfield two can play to potential it's decent.

Not sure who Almiron has to shag to get a start though.

Ah crap. Forgot we were the early kick off.
Best head out, buy beer and then write off the day.

I swapped to the late shift rather than the early today.
Plus points, get a lie in and get to watch the match .
Negatives, can't have a drink and get to watch the match

Yeah would have preferred him over Murphy on the wing.. but the way Bruce was talking about his agent this week seems to me like he was always gonna put Miggy on the bench. I have a good feeling about this team.. the partnership of Hayden-Longstaff (on form) I've always thought is the best CM partnership at the club currently as Hayden does all the gritty, dirty, defensive & shielding workload while Longstaff uses his box-to-box ability to defend / track back and go forward to join in with attacks, they compliment each other well and give a good balance. Didn't we go on a purple unbeaten patch when they were together couple seasons back? Good to see Manquillo back & Clark's always been a reliable solid defender (most of the times).
Wilson will be a big loss but Joelinton's looked better this season, he's still not a CF/ST but let's see what he can do today.. as long as he puts himself about, be's strong & his movement is sharper / quicker then we might be in for a surprise.
Chelsea to thrash us 0-4.. Werner brace, Mount curler & Giroud header of the bench.

Miggy might have been late back from South America whereas Murphy has had a two week break so not that big an issue really.
Pleased to see Clark back, usually goes a good job.

Shocker. Let them have all the ball and wait for them to score.
