Yeah he's a great player and I'm not saying write him off as a dud. But instead of playing him as a left winger every week they should probably give him a bit of a rest and give him some minutes up front.

Part of the issue is that Chelsea looked better (bar recent results) when initially Abraham and then more recently Giroud got brought into the team to act as a focal point upfront so Werner had to be shifted out wide to accommodate them. Worth noting that Abraham/Giroud only got their chance as Werner wasn’t really scoring many as a CF.
