5 changes. I wonder how much of that is tactical and how much is the fatigue from Covid.

Mitrovic starts for Fulham.

No Hendrick on the right is a plus, so is dropping Lewis. Longstaff needs to up his game massively.

More confident with him alongside Shelvey than alongside Hayden.originallad wrote: ↑Sat Dec 19, 2020 7:06 pmNo Hendrick on the right is a plus, so is dropping Lewis. Longstaff needs to up his game massively.
Re: Match Thread - Newcastle v Fulham
Why put Dummet straight in and Yedlin too over Kraft? Maybe Ritchie in LB & Murphy further up... but let's see what happens. Good to see Lewis dropped.
Why no Fraser or no Hayden?
Fulham to win 3-1. Mitrovic brace & Lookman screamer. Carroll consolation header for his first goal in god knows how many years.

Guessing it's just rotation. Hayden had Covid and Fraser has been injured a lot since joining. Probably both start on Tuesday.

They've started well. Looks like we're gonna sit back and try and hit them on the counter. That worked well against Leeds.

Re: Match Thread - Newcastle v Fulham
the mighty Fulham looking more dangerous so far . Not a surprise as all he has done is change a few players. still the same set up and passive tactics

Re: Match Thread - Newcastle v Fulham
I'm not sure what this is from? He won a great tackle then Matt Ritchie put a shot towards the corner flag?
