Quite a harrowing read. I’d heard about this but didn’t know many of the details. Mercifully these are now a thing of the past.

This was absolutely horrific. The steps down from SJP opposite the Strawberry aren't much better than that which is worrying.

I think that's very different though, you're only talking about around half the Gallowgate and a small amount of the East Stand, plus they've already been slowed down and thinned out by the walk down the stands to the concourse. It's busy of course, but it's not the production line effect you had here. A fall would be nasty, but there's plenty of scope to stop and walk around an incident.
