This. Even though that should have been a pen & Gayle's goal is marginally offside we still need to improve.. we had a awful 20 mins & then grew into the game a bit more. I had a feeling this would be a tight 1-0/1-1.. I don't see us winning.. we might just nick a point if we get ASM, Willock & Wilson on the pitch. Clark doesn't look fit to me.. being really poor today & Fernandez/Dummet look nervous/hesitant at times. Ritchie is good for whipping in crosses but he doesn't the pace or skill to ever beat his man one on one.. just too predictable at times while Murphy's been OK he's finding hard against McNeil at times. Shelvey & Longstaff are leaving too many gaps in midfield & are struggling with Burnely's physicality. Miggy's been trying hard to do things but has been ineffective.. similar to Joelinton. Gayle's put himself about but as I've said overall he's lost a yard of pace & hoofing the ball to him & Joelinton against one of the most tough & defensively sound teams in the air is just so one dimensional & ridiculous. A very average team with a s*** manager.. what do we expect? If we can't even get a point today.. we just pray Fulham don't catch up to us because relegation beckons.
