Match day thread - Leicester v NUFC
Friday evening sees United visit the King Power Stadium for an 8pm start against the Foxes, live on Sky Sports.
This will be the 50th senior competitive game in all competitions that Newcastle have played behind closed doors since June 2020.
Both Newcastle and Leicester have lost seven times at home in the PL so far this season, but where we've won five and drawn five, they have recorded nine successes and just a single stalemate.
NUFC: Jamaal Lascelles, Isaac Hayden, Karl Darlow and Ryan Fraser remain sidelined but Joe Willock is available after missing out against parent club Arsenal.
Fabian Schar starts his three match ban after an appeal for the red card against Arsenal to be rescinded failed.

Well I'm expecting another underwhelming performance. 3-1 loss prediction. But I've already stopped fearing relegation.

Heavy defeat incoming here.
I'm the scumbag outlaw. You're the pillar of justice. Neither of us like looking at ourselves in the mirror. Do we have a deal?
Re: Match day thread - Leicester v NUFC
This.. even a draw would be a massive bonus to secure safety. Just don't see it.. Vardy, Ineacnacho & co will have a field day with our defense I fear & there midfield have quality technicians to run rings around ours. Could even see Perez scoring. 4-1.. Wilson to give us false hopes by scoring first but then Leicester equalize before the break.. we sit deep in the second half hoping for a counter but they find a way to break us down & the floodgates open afterwards.Remember Colo wrote: ↑Thu May 06, 2021 6:58 pmWell I'm expecting another underwhelming performance. 3-1 loss prediction. Vardy, Perez & Inechacho brace. 4-1 put a bet on it.

Not going to bother either. Bruce all took away my desire to watch us ages ago, and were only going to get absolutely hammered.

Did a hell of a job to close the distance and get wide. Should have scored when on a 2:1 like that, but Kasper being almost at his feet for the block there's little more St. Max could do.

I was 12 minutes late turning the match on, but we've actually looked decent for the past 7. Actually harrying them a bit in the midfield for once.
