Just cannot take this one seriously!!
No snap or pressure, it’s a glorified friendly.

Have we got any defenders on the pitch now? Bruce has gone full Keegan. You never go full Keegan!

We have it a good go at least, which is more than you can say for a lot of games this season

Ah well, that was entertaining at least. Much rather that than see us park the bus, play non-football for 90 minutes without getting a shot on goal and losing 1-0 anyway.

Despite the 3 goals there were some absolutely awful moments, Almirons final ball has been dog s*** all night, ASM reverting back to headless chicken dribbling and half the time towards our own goal too. Absolutely zero pressing. I agree with the above comment, felt like a friendly where nobody seemed bothered about the result.

This. I'll take entertaining 3-3's , 3-2s, 4-3s over bore dull 0-0 or 0-1 negative & cautious draws. <ok>

We need to be looking to finish strongly against two relegated teams to show we’ve still got the desire to get as many points as possible.

4 points minimum from Sheffield United and Fulham, our record against the teams below us is crap this season so need to sort that.

This. I'll like to also see the likes of Matty Longstaff, Anderson, Lewis & some other youngsters given significant minutes (starting or of the bench).

Team against Sheffield United (just to freshen things up).. we should look to put them to the sword as they have lost there last 8 of 9 matches.

Dubra
Manquillo Fernandez Clark Lewis
Willock Shelvey
Murphy* Miggy ASM
Joelinton

Subs : Darlow, Dummet, Kraft, Ritchie, Anderson, M.Longstaff, S.Longstaff, Gayle, Carroll.

I'm assuming Fraser is still injured?

*I want to see Murphy further forward for a change integrating more with ASM & Miggy supporting Joelinton.

Then revert to a back five against Fulham on the weekend.

I think Fraser is back in training judging by recent photos.

You’d think Sheffield Utd is the perfect game for Lewis to get some minutes and rebuild some confidence hopefully.

I'd be happy to see that, but I don't think the April manager of the month will change his formation at this stage. It'll be back five, and Krafth won't be dropped.

Agreed. Was an entertaining Friday afternoon fixture that if nothing else got me laughing a few times. In a match with little stakes against the league winner, it was more than I would have asked for going in.

Yes agreed, we took our chances when they fell our way. There's not too much we could have done about a couple of their goals (unlucky deflection on Cancelo's goal (maybe could have tracked/closed down a bit better but hey) and an outrageous goal of the season contender by Torres).

Hopefully we don't turn up against Sheffield Utd thinking we can stroll to victory, they played well against Everton (who admittedly were awful) so will be wanting to finish their PL stint on a high.
