A mate of mine in his 30s got Covid just after Christmas and was off work for 3 months. Still not back to where he used to be in terms of overall fitness etc. He used to be out walking most weekends with his wife but now he does a couple of miles and he's wrecked.

I've got man-flu at the moment, did a couple of Covid tests and both negative so I'll just sit here feeling sorry for myself for the weekend

Yeah I have a mate early 30s who was a keen runner, got it in early 2020 and still fatigued most days. Has to delicately balance doing too little/much or he'll need to rest for 24 hours.

Similarly have a coworker of that age who came down with it in March of last year, and although I haven't spoken to her lately, I know even 8 months later she could hardly get in or out of a car without being out of breath, and my understanding a year and a half later she's still experiencing serious issues. So I can't even imagine being a professional athlete with huge pressures on their body to perform at peak level trying to deal with a case of this that has the lingering symptoms.

That's what I think will happen, it does depend on who may still leave

That leaves
Clark, Lewis, Gayle out of the 25 man squad, though I think given injuries one of them will probably be included ahead of Hayden (who I believe is out for the season )
