Both on 6 figures apparently.

That's what I'd assumed. We won't have beat out the clubs we did for their signatures without competitive wages.

Hopefully we can get a couple more outfield players in soon, now pre season is underway it's important to get new additions some minutes, it's annoying when the season starts and they have to be eased in because they haven't had any pre season with us, so hopefully we can see at least 1 more in over the next 1 or 2 weeks

Agreed, he was a very valuable part of the team for a lot of his time here. Regressed towards the end and he probably is championship level now. Good luck to him.

I wouldn't agree with that either, but he did have an extended spell where he played very well and was more than worth his place in the team. Arguably MotM on a few occasions as well. He was a decent back up player. Shame his time at the club dipped so much at the end, but reportedly he was a consummate professional during the second half of last season when he was left out of the 25.

So wish him well and thanks for his service. I'm sure he'll do well at Sheffield. Still easily good enough to excel at championship level.

Yep and remember if he hadn't been sent off against Norwich Joelinton would never have become the beast he is

Joking aside I agree was never our best defender but was a vital part of our promotion back to PL and was a threat when we relied heavily on set pieces for goals.

Yeah can’t remember who it was, but on the club social media over summer one of the players specifically mentioned him as a bit of an unsung hero for how professional he remained despite being omitted from the PL squad. Lots of players would have spat their dummy so fair play to him for keeping his head down and cracking on.

Given that we paid around £5m for him and he’s played over 100 games for us I think he can leave with his head held high for his overall contribution.

Looking like Manquillo will be heading back to Spain in the next few weeks, talks with both Seville clubs and also Barcelona rumoured to be interested

Another one who’s done a solid job in his time here, but with Trippier and Krafth at RB, and Targett, Burn, Dummett to cover LB he’s probably not going to get much game time and we need to trim the squad.
