Yeah Bournemouth away was the first that sprung to mind. I’m sure there must be the occasional impressive win but from what I remember most are probably by the odd goals in awful matches or where we missed loads of chances.

We had that 2-2 against City then a good away win at Sheffield United on the bounce. I was on holiday and watched both on tv, so maybe Brucey just needs me to be out of the country to perform.

2-2 v City when the place was bouncing, 3-2 v Oxford was fun, the run we had after lockdown was excellent.

Not much though.

Not the best of games but the hopes we had for the £40m man Joelinton when his first goal for the club was enough to beat Spurs 1-0 in August 2019.

Had him in my FPL team for that <laugh>

We got absolutely battered for 90 mins if I remember right. For all Bruces faults, it was brilliant last season when Wilson scored the last minute penalty v Spurs, just because their fans have become one of the most self-entitled fans in the league over the last few years despite not actually winning anything. At best they’d become the new Arsenal for a while, without the fa cups.

I'd love it, love it if we beat them next week!

The game I witnessed that left me in awe,
Was a fighting, FA Cup draw,
When, despite a relentless second half attack,
We almost held out at the back,
Only conceding a single goal,
Even though they were in cruise control,

Rochdale fielded their strongest side,
But could not brush our boys aside,
Like the Spartans at Thermopylae Pass,
We held out against their strength and class,
I put this forward as my claim,
To Steve Bruce's greatest game.

Putting sarcastic remarks side
I sure Steve Bruce has always tried
But he's out of his depth, the water is too deep,
Or put another way, Mount Premier is far too steep,
For him to swim freely or to scale,
And the take-over will be his coffin nail,

I'm sure he is a decent guy,
But when he goes, I will not cry,
He is part of Ashley's regime,
And knows his fate, it would seem,
His departure is unlikely to be stalled,
The taxi may have already been called.
