This is bloody marvellous
Joelinton redeemed regardless of that. What a game so far

Another point, but again not enough. Need to start winning some games.
Re: match day thread - NUFC v Brentford
Easy to see we need to rebuild our whole defence. It was a enjoyable game but I'm glad I'm not 60+ years for this new era ride. That would give me a heart attack.

Entertaining stuff but we needed the win.
Bottom of the league and possibly 7 points from safety tomorrow evening - that Joelinton fluff may prove costly.

Just good to know we've a manager who has watched that and has an idea how to respond.

We win that with Dubravka, he helps the defence massively compared to Darlow, he doesn't fumble a routine save, he doesn't allow attackers to advance onto over hit passes and he doesn't smash the ball directly out of play when we are countering late In the game. Darlow was absolutely dreadful today.

Agree that Dubravka must come back in, he’s clearly fit.
Amazingly we’re only 5 points from safety. Although it’s clearly a case that Norwich at home is an absolute must win.

I'm the scumbag outlaw. You're the pillar of justice. Neither of us like looking at ourselves in the mirror. Do we have a deal?

As things stand the only write off games will be Liverpool and Man City imo. Arsenal, Leicester, Man Utd are winnable, next 3 games could turn our season around.Bodacious Benny wrote: ↑Sat Nov 20, 2021 5:22 pmAgree that Dubravka must come back in, he’s clearly fit.

Taking a step back, we looked really dangerous and played some great stuff, we have only had 2 weeks training in a completely new style and our manager was forced to stay away from the ground. There is plenty of positives to look at. Once the team gets used to the new approach and their fitness levels improve we will only get better imo. We could easily be out of the relegation zone come January, so I still think it's far too early to worry.

Crackin atmosphere today , crowd stayed with them and I honestly thought I was witnessing the rebranding of “the Joe”…..then his Arthur Daley deck shows worked their stuff.
ASM great on the eye, but I fear for his fitness remaining reliable for what comes ahead.
Team looked more up front and energetic but the defence is a cluster f*** and our goalkeeping is tragic
I’m hugely disappointed in the score but a few beers and a curry, I’ll not be too despondent yet.
There’s a decent team in there but we need to bite and scratch for every point until we can recruit some defensive spine.
We can score against anyone but unless we shore up at the back we are gone.

For all the positivity we needed a win.
