My wife is a Leeds supporter but because of me Newcastle is her second team.
She will want Newcastle to win, even if it hinders Leeds position in the table.
Me on the other hand would rather see Leeds lose if it benefits Newcastle.
Am I a bit of a t*** or am I totally justified in thinking that way?
Wanting my wife's team to lose if it benefits nufc.

It's a hard one that match, with Brentford only a point ahead of Leeds. Leeds probably have the better team and over the season will likely gain more points. A Brentford loss could pull them back into it further down the road. I see Leeds as more likely to fight their way out of the mire than Brentford.

You see, I shouted "yeah!!" when Leeds just scored then but died a little bit inside.

Leeds are playing really well. I think they've found their groove again tbf. More likely Brentford will get sucked in to the relegation battle like you said, so i can now watch Leeds with ease knowing that a win for them actually helps us.Cabella's Invincible Hair wrote: ↑Sun Dec 05, 2021 2:18 pmIt's a hard one that match, with Brentford only a point ahead of Leeds.
