Spurs have enough players to field a starting XI so I can't see why they'd postpone that one too. They've now had time to put in new measures for training etc.
Yeah, I think more than how many available players they have, it's having that time to confirm that the players are staff available are in fact negative. Or at least that should be the definitive factor.

Man U in talks with the PL over whether it's safe to play their game against Brentford.
It's been postponed - hopefully call our game off on the 27th as well! <whistle>

Ideal for us, neither get any points <laugh>

Hopefully it won't be rescheduled until the new year.

Hope not, just bought my ticket for the Watford game on the 15th Jan. What happens to your ticket in the event of cancellation? I take it a full refund.

Leicester Spurs off now .

Are we so bad that we cannot even “covid our way” out of tonight’s ritual slaughter?

Presumably any team who has to postpone due to not having enough players without covid to fulfill the fixture also can't fulfill any fixture for the next 10 days (maybe a couple of daysess depending on when they tested positive / had symptoms).

Assuming the Brentford game Man Utd called off at short notice on the Tuesday was when they first tested positive, then they'd be isolating until Christmas Eve, meaning they'd only be able to train for 2 days having not played for over 2 weeks before our game.

Whereas we'll have 7 days to train and prepare and it'll be 8 days since we played Man City. Could work out well for us.

No, we’ll still get hammered - guaranteed.

But I like your thinking!

Are all of the unavailable players due to positive tests, or are some simply having to quarantine because of potential exposure? That'll make a difference how long they're out for.

OK, I might be getting this wrong but if supporters have to prove they've been double vaccinated, had their booster jab or provide evidence of a negative test then why don't players as they're attending the same event.
