We really do seem to break forward on the counter better than we used to. Everyone seems a bit more decisive and committed - even if the final balls or finishing still lacks quality.

Joelinton in the box is f***ing abysmal.

Joelinton decides to just buffer when a goal scoring opportunity comes along.

I think he is ready to be awarded Lee Clark's old nickname ... Jigsaw. He goes to pieces in the box.

Wonder if we will see Bruno on for Shelvey for the 2nd half, now that he's booked.

We’ve got to beat these. Especially with Mina injured they’re useless at the back. There for the taking. (Cue 2-1 loss)
I had the first custom w***

We're missing Wilson's pace here.. that's why we should have tried the utmost to get a striker/second striker with technical ability & pace due to the way we play now a high pressure 4-4-3.. Wood while being a hard-worker and good in the air lacks that acceleration/speed of the ball to make runs / run past defenders. Willock has been poor, Shelvey needs to calm down & Targett looks OK so far.. steady performance but we need to improve. Trippier should be named captain.. can see his quality & composure on the ball is on a different level to others & he leads by example. Joelinton looks more like Joelinton of old today.. should have scored there. On the whole we look OK but midfield needs a upgrade this summer.. the jury's still out on Willock & Shelvey. Hopefully Bruno gets a good 25/30 mins (for Shelvey who's on a yellow ideally). Would like too see Murphy / Miggy too later down the stretch.

I'm predicting a Bruno goal from range. [When was the last time we even scored a long range strike?]
