Forum meet up
Has there ever been one from here? I know there are people on Not606 that do because some of them live fairly locally from each other, but seems like people on here are from all over the shop; London, Norway etc.
Would anyone be interested in doing one maybe next season?

Could be good but tricky to organise as everyone is all over the place I think?
I vote for Birmingham as it’s central for everyone and 20 mins from me

Re: Forum meet up
I've done a few uk wide meetups through other social activities, and more often or not London is overall more accessible for most. Personally can't stand the place, but it's just easy to get to being the capital. Saying that, had a cracking (yet expensive) night out in Camden last year. Birmingham similarly easy to get to, and as someone above stated, relatively central to most, at least that are in country.
Also for what it's worth, I live in a town in the north west and it's 2.50 a pint

I would say between 8 and 18 I was there on saturday and if you go to Aker Brygge you'll get broke twice as fastlassassinblanc wrote: ↑Mon Apr 25, 2022 8:52 amDepends where you get it really but anywhere between 8 or 12 quid
We have 0,4 and 0,6 ltr glasses though. I think a pint is 0,47 ltr

Worst I had was an airport hotel at Heathrow, one pint of Leffe Blonde was £11

Re: Forum meet up
Yeah, and yes the airports are even worse. I think I pay £18 when I have a going-home-beer after rotation. It's well worth it after 14 days thoughBodacious Benny wrote: ↑Mon Apr 25, 2022 9:35 amCentral London prices then! And bars would now try and have you believe that a pint is whatever glass they serve you beer in - and not an official volume. At some point here they basically decided the max people want to pay is around $9 CAD before tip for a beer (unless extorting you at stadiums or special events) - so they turned to serving smaller volumes. It's rare to get a proper pint anymore.

But yeah Oval I was going for the run of the mill normal place, I've definitely been to places in Oslo were you'd pay 200Kr for a pint (which is about 18-19 pound)
