Why didn’t Joelinton hold it.

Answers on a postcard if you can explain where 8 minutes of added on time came from. Feels like the ref played on until the Dippers got the goal they needed to me.
Re: Match Thread: Liverpool v Newcastle
Imagine if Anderson had smashed it first time though.

5 mins was probably right as we did waste a lot of time, and Pope probably had 2 mins treatment in injury time for an “injury”…Donkey Toon wrote: ↑Wed Aug 31, 2022 9:01 pmAnswers on a postcard if you can explain where 8 minutes of added on time came from. Completely disgusting that there was 8 minutes added onto this game.

I feel f***ing sick.
Re: Match Thread: Liverpool v Newcastle
I am once again reminded why I can’t stand Liverpool.
Re: Match Thread: Liverpool v Newcastle
Just rewound it, Pope was down for barely more than a minute, and that was after being challenged by Van Dijk's arm for some bizarre reason. Refs shat it.Bodacious Benny wrote: ↑Wed Aug 31, 2022 9:06 pm5 mins was probably right as we did waste a lot of time, and Pope probably had 2 mins treatment in injury time for an “injury”…Donkey Toon wrote: ↑Wed Aug 31, 2022 9:01 pmAnswers on a postcard if you can explain where 8 minutes of added on time came from. Sicker and undeserved. At least deserved a point great team display all-round, can't flame the players attitude and application. To do this at Anfield without Bruno, ASM, etc is brilliant and shows how far we've come. Joelinton MOTM for us won so many tackles and was everywhere. Isak was second with his confident and composed finish. Looks like a good-round striker who has all the right attributes to be be one of the best in Europe if he develops to his full potential. Good pace, athletic, technically gifted, showed he can finish (twice unlucky it was marginally offside but was abit dodgy) and very good off the ball movement. Upgrade on Wood and real competition for Wilson. He's definitely going to replace Wilson in the next year or 2 as the main striker (when everyone's fit and on form).
Even though our undefeated run has come to a end, 6 points from 5 matches is decent considering we had Brighton (a), Wolves (a), Man City and Liverpool (a). Next 5 matches we should be looking to get 9 points+ (minimum). Palace (h), West Ham (a), Bournmouth (h), Fulham (a) and Brentford (h).

Would be disappointed not to take at least 7 points from those home games for sure.

We were always going to go for the cross in this version of ourselves.
Think it's an absolute joke that for the last 2 seasons the whistle blows when it's time regardless, tonight they were allowed to take the corner well after the time surpassed. You won't get that outside of certain clubs.
Anyways, Isak looked clinical and very dangerous, will be a force when we get everyone else fit. Very unlucky with the pubes width of an offside for the second.
Anderson looked bright again, but annoying that he just didn't smash it at goal, put that one down to lack of experience.
Murphy is simply not good enough for the PL, I can forgive lack of ability, but when you fail the basics game after game after game, it's difficult to stand by the lad.
Big improvement from Willock and Longstaff tonight, thought they played very well.
Pope is quality, think he's up there as our one of the best signings of the summer.
