Match Thread: Liverpool v Newcastle
Highly likely that there will be no ASM or Bruno G for this one, and of course Wilson already confirmed as out.
Trippier must be a doubt and if we are worried about his hamstring I'd keep him for Palace at the weekend.
Given the options we've got available I think we just accept a defeat and move on!

Re: Match Thread: Liverpool v Newcastle
Ask a silly question, but is there any requirement for us or anyone else to reveal Isak's status publicly before the teamsheet comes out later? As in, it might have been approved already but Eddie's keeping it contained?

I presume a squad list (not team list) has to be submitted to the PL in advance of the fixture?

Re: Match Thread: Liverpool v Newcastle
But is the PL then required to reveal that, other than to Liverpool (and potentially the other clubs)? I'm clutching at straws somewhat.

I like our back four apart from Lascelles.
Issak starting. Which is exciting but also, what a match for him to start in! Deep end or what.
I think Fraser works best as an impact sub. Reckon he'll tire early.
Our midfield is weak without Bruno and ASM.

Re: Match Thread: Liverpool v Newcastle
Need a strong focussed mentality tonight obviously.
In particular I hope Longstaff and Willock rather than Pillock turns up and that both play a positive role here tonight.
ASM obv miss for our new striker to partner up …but Fraser can hopefully be positive …...
No sitting on tbe fence with me ….
This could be absolutely anything tonight

Isak has had more than 5 touches so far but hasn't scored two goals yet. Waste of £60 million.
