Agreed, I'll be honest I've never seen the hype with him, as you say he doesn't get ahead of any of those bar maybe Miley when all are fit and doesn't get ahead of Gordon, Barnes etc if played off the left.bodacious benny wrote: ↑Sun Jun 30, 2024 11:06 amI mean I like Anderson but in midfield we have Bruno, Joelinton, Tonali, Willock, Longstaff and Miley so for £35m we’d be silly to turn it down. I really like Anderson but that’s good money,
Also if Wilson goes to Saudi. Could be upwards of £100 million on those three players alone.bodacious benny wrote: ↑Sun Jun 30, 2024 12:32 pmIf we do get around £65m-£70m for Anderson and Minteh then it just shows how ridiculous the transfer market is now. But in terms of what that will enable us to spend it should see us having quite a healthy budget due to how all the PSR bollocks works.
Yeah I’m not sure but a pod a while ago said as an example if we sold a player for around £20m it enables you to spend £100m or something stupid due to amortisation of payments. Isn’t football exciting…Excel should sponsor the league as it’s all down to spreadsheets now.jpg wrote: ↑Sun Jun 30, 2024 2:35 pmAlso if Wilson goes to Saudi. Who the **** knows what that means in PSR terms. Not sure anyone really has a clue.
Plus, we’ve sorted our PSR issues and given ourselves some room to spend without weakening the starting XI.lassassinblanc wrote: ↑Sun Jun 30, 2024 2:33 pmAgreed, I'll be honest I've never seen the hype with him, as you say he doesn't get ahead of any of those bar maybe Miley when all are fit and doesn't get ahead of Gordon, Barnes etc if played off the left.bodacious benny wrote: ↑Sun Jun 30, 2024 11:06 amI mean I like Anderson but in midfield we have Bruno, Joelinton, Tonali, Willock, Longstaff and Miley so for £35m we’d be silly to turn it down. That's what I assumeOver The Line wrote: ↑Mon Jul 01, 2024 10:31 amDoes that mean the Forrest keeper is now our No.2 with Ruddy our number 3?
Assuming this means the Trafford links are dead too.
Agreed, willing to wait until the end of the window to see what is planned but it's a strange start for sure.Don Sholeone wrote: ↑Mon Jul 01, 2024 10:36 amWe are a Pope injury from disaster now, goalkeeping options significantly weaker imo.
