If ever there was a name for a transfer saga it's Odyseus.
Displaced from the Forest team by Sels…let’s pray Pope stays fit <laugh>

Vlacho is a good keeper, Forest a bit of a s*** show last year, think they're looking for another keeper again which would be something like 7 keepers in 2 years

I'd expect there might be a buyback clause or relegation clause in the Anderson deal which we'll take advantage of should it happen, yes it's crap having to sell a homegrown lad but it's 35m pure profit for him which is good business, if we buy him back for same value in a years time we spread that over 5 years.
I'll Hazard a guess

I mean I like Anderson but in midfield we have Bruno, Joelinton, Tonali, Willock, Longstaff and Miley so for £35m we’d be silly to turn it down. I really like Anderson but that’s good money,
Agreed, I'll be honest I've never seen the hype with him, as you say he doesn't get ahead of any of those bar maybe Miley when all are fit and doesn't get ahead of Gordon, Barnes etc if played off the left.

If we do get around £65m-£70m for Anderson and Minteh then it just shows how ridiculous the transfer market is now. But in terms of what that will enable us to spend it should see us having quite a healthy budget due to how all the PSR bollocks works.
Also if Wilson goes to Saudi. Could be upwards of £100 million on those three players alone.

Who the f*** knows what that means in PSR terms. Not sure anyone really has a clue.

Yeah I’m not sure but a pod a while ago said as an example if we sold a player for around £20m it enables you to spend £100m or something stupid due to amortisation of payments. Isn’t football exciting…Excel should sponsor the league as it’s all down to spreadsheets now.

Plus, we’ve sorted our PSR issues and given ourselves some room to spend without weakening the starting XI.

Think I preferred the Friday announcements rather than the new midnight ones.

A lot of paper talk last few days. A week a go fans be gutted about losing Anderson and Minteh. Suddenly when the rumours of Gordon and Isak going came out, everyone is a lot happier. Have a feeling there's some strong PR work going on in the middle of all this.

Talk this morning that we was 50-60m in the hole. Questions need answering and sharpish. We are supposed to be building a better future yet we have just had to sell off parts of that future in a panic because of what seems like complete financial mismanagement.

Yes PSR is backwards, but the fact is it exists and we have to deal with it.

Seems a shame for Anderson. Never scored for us. Not sure what his level is, injury last year really hurt him

We have signed John Ruddy on a free on a years contract.

I have no idea what's going on anymore.

Does that mean the Forrest keeper is now our No.2 with Ruddy our number 3?

Assuming this means the Trafford links are dead too.

We are a Pope injury from disaster now, goalkeeping options significantly weaker imo.

Agreed, willing to wait until the end of the window to see what is planned but it's a strange start for sure.

Vlachodimos is a better keeper than Dubravka imo. Ruddy obviously brought in as we couldn't agree a deal for Trafford not sure why Gillespie couldn't have been 3rd choice though unless he is and Ruddy is 4th choice
