Kell Watts has jouned Wigan on loan.

At 23 and after several loans it looks like he's not going to make it with us or at the top, but looks to have enough to have a solid career around League One level.

I think the deal is loan to buy shame really as at one point he looked like he could make it but it's not quite worked out for him.
Add in the fact he's had two serious injuries the last few seasons which have stalled his development but like you say he'll have a solid career in the lower levels

Newcastle have completed the signing of 16-year-old striker Kacey Wooster from Southend.

Newcastle have sealed the signing of Sam Alabi after the young midfielder was pictured taking photographs holding the shirt at St James’ Park.

Alabi – a box to box midfielder formerly of Oldham – will join up with Under-15s or Under-16s soon, with the hopes of developing over the coming years and trying to force his way into the first team.

They seem to think he needs time to settle in as he only signed this week and the way they played today this quote sort of sums it up

Way too early to make any judgement on how we will do this season but, in terms of this game it was pretty crap in all honesty.
