Brilliant achievement. Also thought that Perch was outstanding tonight, he deserves credit when it's due as he's certainly been given enough stick. Santon also looks like he's becoming a little more disciplined.
Yeah and you've gotta love his attacking quality too really! Tempted to just keep him on the left if we buy a new full back, him and Jonas have some great link up play.

Plus, Perch is just <awe> <love>

What's going on there?
Fiorentina manager assaulted Adam Ljajic (sp?) after subbing him

Perch's tackling is second to none, he always times it perfectly <love>

A complete contrast to the beggining of last season when he got 5 yellow cards in 5 games.

Just found a little stat:
Chelsea annual wage bill: $170 mil
Newcastle annual wage bill: $56 mil (half that of Villa's and $3 mil less than Everton's!)

I love us <love>

Bloody hell! <yikes>

Villa are just like us from a couple of year ago, spending big and paying massive wages to average players who really don't care.

Don't argue with idiots. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with their experience.

From the express...

"If Roy Hodgson is the here and now for England, then Pardew could well be the future. A lack of ambition or belief will certainly not hold him back.

His self-confidence has clearly translated to the players. Mike Williamson, who is not noted for his flair, joined in one attack with a step-over Cristiano Ronaldo would have been proud of.

Perhaps Williamson has been taking lessons from Hatem Ben Arfa, Yohan Cabaye and Cisse, who have all lit
up the Premier League with their invention and goal-scoring ability."
