I may be wrong - but I have a feeling we have never played a competitive game against either of these 3 teams?

Not since 1969 anyhow ?

nufc.com agree:
The Magpies have never played any of those sides competitively in their history before, but visited the San Siro to face Inter in this competition in 2003.

Glad the first game is away as I'm on holiday then. Was worried I was going to be paying £55 for nothing. Poor planning but we've had it booked before we qualified for the champions league.

Going to try and get to the Dortmund and Paris away games.

Can't wait for these matches. My plan to give up drinking until Xmas has been torn asunder.

Ah well.

We've just managed to get Stanstead to Dortmund for £40 each on the Monday and Cologne to Stanstead for £30 each on the Wednesday.

Paris was a bit more expensive, just over £200 for trains from Newcastle to London and Eurostar to Paris. Cheaper than flights though.

Can't wait now though!

Woke up this morning feeling giddy with excitement and can't wait for the kick off.

I've cancelled all my meetings from 4pm onwards, prepped up dinner last night to lob into the slow cooker this morning, umming and erring about having a beer or g&t as I'm on a diet/health kick... might have one large gin. Told my family that unless the house is on fire, I'm not to be disturbed and now just have to muddle through the day until kick off.

Twenty years has flown by!!

I've got a meeting at 5pm so I'm recording it to watch a little later, at least I'll be able to fast-forward the half-time waffle!

Did anyone see how Minteh got on yesterday for feyenoord v Celtic? He started the game and played and hour, a rare example of a loan moving looking decent for one of our young prospects!
