WTF have they got a game tonight for
Bring back the days when literally every 3rd round game was 3pm on Saturday, it was such an occasion!

Re: FA Cup football
What was the rationale behind choosing Palace v Everton for TV coverage?
Tho nice to see everton’s 1980s style shirt matches their style of football.

That’s never a red card for DCL.

Re: FA Cup football
Seems unfair that VAR is only being used in some games, should be all or none. Presumably if Everton had been away to a lower league club it wouldn't have been a red card - not that I have any sympathy for Everton though.

Re: FA Cup football
I think the TV thinking of airing PL pairings is all wrong. Maybe if it was a more glamorous fixture it'd be worth it, but otherwise I can watch 2 mediocre PL clubs several times a week, and would rather see clubs or match-ups I'd otherwise not have access to.Bodacious Benny wrote: ↑Thu Jan 04, 2024 8:52 pmWhat was the rationale behind choosing Palace v Everton for TV coverage?

Re: FA Cup football
That makes sense for overseas fans, but in the UK it gives the BBC and ITV a chance to show "PL" games to those without Sky. It's horrible, but that's why.

I might have watched Fulham vs bottom of the Championship Rotherham but I'm not tuning in for Spurs v Burnley
