Thought it was odds on that Man U would win once they got their added time equaliser.

It’s a strange position to be in to be hoping that Chelsea win this…!

There’s just so much to dislike about Klopp and his club that I’m siding with the Cockney mafia
Feel there is such an inherent institutional pro Liverpool bias and Klippity sentiment within football.

Tbh Chelsea will never get a better chance of beating Liverpool than today. Liverpool as weak a team and bench as they’ve had all season.
Chelsea just need to step it up from being crap to competent

Yep, no Salah, Jota, Darwin, Trent and a few others…Chelsea won’t get a better chance!

Yep, goes against the grain but I'm hoping for a Chelsea win as well.

Much as we all hate Liverpool, that decision was harsh. It that goal is chalked off for us then we’re all fuming.

Re: Weekend football - 24/26 February 2024
He's chaotic. He dives in constantly which means he gives away free kicks quite a lot or is beaten quite a lot. Not worth anywhere near what they paid for him.

Unfortunately that’s why we’ll struggle to hold onto (or even sign) the best players. A Bruno, Botman, Isak knows that if they go to a Liverpool they’re very likely going to win at least a League Cup.

I hate Liverpool, but that means an extra European place for league position.

This whole Klopps kids s**** is doing my head in, he started a very strong team and brought a few academy players on very late, they are acting like he lined up with 11 academy level players, some that came on have had plenty of games already this season.
Don't get me wrong I dislike Chelsea and how they have been allowed to just drop a billion on players and they deserve some ridicule from fans, but the media needs to be more professional about it. This cheap jibe of Blue Billion Pound Bottlejobs doesn't really tackle the real issues and is just a catchy soundbite that kinda makes a mockery of how imbalanced football in this country has become.
Also the fact they are acting like Liverpool haven't dropped silly money on players and wages over the years. The whole thing is very frustrating, especially with how we and others have been essentially handcuffed when it comes to trying to compete.

Poor scousers could only throw out £36m Konata, £75m VVD, £37m Gakpo, £37m Diaz, £35m Mac Allister, £35m Gravenberch, £16m Endo...tough times!Don Sholeone wrote: ↑Mon Feb 26, 2024 9:29 amThis whole Klopps kids s**** is doing my head in, he started a very strong team and brought a few academy players on very late, they are acting like he lined up with 11 academy level players, some that came on have had plenty of games already this season.

...Bradley is the only real academy player who's not played a lot of minutes. But yes, it's all media narrative. If you consider annual transfer expenditure + annual wage bill then Liverpool will be right up there. They're hardly paupers (as Klopp likes to make out) and goes without saying wouldn't be where they are had they not spent a lot of money consistently.
That said, they've done it in a far better way than Chelsea have, thought that's not difficult!
Arsenal get a similar narrative and praise. Arteta has spent a hell of a lot to get Arsenal to the level they're at, it's not just down to him being some coaching genius and bringing players through.
