I know Derby have the worst record with 7 points and all - but there's definitely an argument for Sheff Utd being the worst Premier League side in history. As s**** as Derby were I don't remember them getting spanked with so many heavy losses like this. Just awful - as bad as we were at least it wasn't that bad <laugh>

Probably more an indication of how big the gulf in quality has become between top and bottom of league since 2008. Also this Sheffield side would be mid table championship at best.

I think it’s a bit of a myth that there’s heaps of quality in the championship, you’d don’t need to be particularly amazing to do well as there’s a lot of very average teams. It’s just a narrative. I think the hard thing about the league is the amount of games, not the quality.

Finances for transfer fees in the championship have fallen. So there's quality players, but they are more evenly spread among 24 teams

Didn’t realise how close the bottom of the championship is, Stoke are in the bottom 3 but one win would put them 16th. Literally any team in the bottom half could be in the relegation zone if they lost a couple or games and results went against them.

Also, Leif Davis looks quality at left back. 14 assists last season in league one and similar already this season.

I had them in an acca, delightful late turnaround. Thought it was dead when they missed the penalty.

Yeah at 24 still got his peak years ahead of him and he's from Newcastle, local lad n' all could be our next Dan Burn different playing style of course. Was at Wallsend Boys Club when growing up too so there's history there.. if we don't get Hall in on a perm we should look at this guy that's for sure. <ok>

Didn't realise he was born in Newcastle! One (of many) that slipped through the net.
