Not much happening in the Premier League this weekend due to the FA Cup.

Sat 16.03.2024:

Burnley 2-1 Brentford (3pm)
Luton Town 2-1 Nottingham Forest (3pm)
Fulham 3-0 Spurs (5.30pm) Sky

Sun 17.03.2024:

West Ham 1-1 Aston Villa (2pm)

Sure, stupid on paper. But really, can you blame the kid? He just scored a winning goal in the last minute of extra time to take his team to Wembley, dumping out one of their biggest rivals. He’s also barely had a kick all season but instantly becomes the hero for the day. The rush of adrenaline and emotion must have been off the chart, doubt he’s in the least bit worried (nor should he be) about a yellow card in another attempt by the FA to suck any and all emotion out of the game.

I think it was on the ref watch thing on Sky where someone pointed out that law came in 25 years ago, before he was even born. Barely anyone does it now and they always get booked, that's why it's saved for special occasions like that Jonas goal v West Ham.
